If you've read Roomie Wars, you HAVE to read his book. I absolutely loved it!!!!Kat T. Masen did such a great job bringing all of the humor and easy flow of Roomie Wars into this next chapter of Zoey and Drew's life. I absolutely loved both characters in Roomie Wars and was so excited to find out that there was going to be more about Zoey and Drew.
It starts off with the very nervous Drew setting up the stage to ask the woman he loves, Zoey, to marry him. He's nervous and trying to make sure everything is perfect while worrying that she may say no. But of course Zoey says yes because she loves Drew. This begins Wedding Wars.
I absolutely love how this author tells the story from both the male and female lead. Having it told this way gives the reader the thoughts and feelings of both characters.
With Drew's hectic work schedule, Zoey is left to plan the wedding by herself but enlists the help of her best friend and coworker, Mia. Mia, who is pregnant, inadvertently starts getting Drew to question Zoey's fidelity by innocently mentioning a hot new coworker. Drew can't seem to shake an uneasy feeling about how Mia goes one about the new man in Zoey's life. Of course Zoey thinks nothing of it because she loves Drew and has no ideas of leaving him or cheating on him with Slater.
Drew's schedule starts to interfere with Zoey's plans for he wedding making her uneasy about what Drew is feeling. She feels like they are becoming more distant instead of them getting closer. Then she sees Drew standing closely to an intern and starts to get her own jealous feelings churning. She feels hurt finding out that Drew never mentioned that he was getting married to what she sees and a younger, thinner and hotter girl in Drew's life.
They keep going on each day not talking about what each other is feeling which just makes the gap between them grow.
Then comes the bachelor and bachelorette parties. Drew runs into his "hot intern" at an exclusive club that neither of them should be at and end up spending the rest of the evening together watching the, um, "shows." This is when I almost tracked down the author to ask, "What the heck are you doing to my Zoey and Drew???? Why are you trying to destroy them before they even make it down the isle???" I had to set done my device and walk away for a moment.
But I had to finish this book! I had to know if there would even be a wedding. Would Zoey and Drew stay together? Would Drew give in to temptation and get with the intern? Would Zoey remain faithful and remain just friends with Slater? Would Zoey have her dream wedding or would this gap growing between them pull them apart for good.

🍀🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍 💍 💌💒 it was a fantastic read, it is 2nd book in the series with this couple. It has great plot that keeps you entertain through out. With parts that you may shed a 😢, well I did. Zoey 💜 Drew 💕💘👍 The proposal amazing, every girls dream. Love the sound track, it will transport you back in 🕒 as always great writing by Kat. This was such a cute book. Just like roomie wars, I could not put it down until I was done reading it from back to front!! It had me laughing and almost crying throughout different parts of the book multiple times. I wanted to lock the two of them into a room long enough that they could sleep and have a real conversation about the wedding. At the same time, it was incredibly realistic in dealing with schedules and crazy lives and couples not having tons of time to spend together. I loved it and will be looking at getting more of her books. I downloaded ROOMIE WARS because it was free and happily and quickly purchased wedding wars so I could continue with the series and read more!!
Drew couldn't wait to propose to Zoey and after promising not to turn into one of those Bridezilla's she used to watch in tv that exactly what happens to Zoey. Things get stressful and if planning a Wedding isn't bad enough in walks hunky Slater, Zoey's newest co-worker and gorgeous Raine, a new intern at the hospital to stir the pot even more. Jealousy ensues and relationships are tested in this fun read from Kat T. Masen.
It took Drew and Zoe years to sort their stuff out and get together. In Roomie Wars, we watched as they fought against the attraction that was so obvious to the audience but for some reason they couldn't see it. Maybe it was hidden under the pile of 80's memorabilia!
They finally got their though! Thank God!
After one of the best, most personal marriage proposals ever, Drew is finally going to get his girl.
That's until Zoe becomes Bridezilla and they both start doing everything they possibly can to sabotage the wedding and their happily ever after!
Filled with light hearted fun and jokes that are so corny they will have you laughing out loud, Wedding Wars is the perfect ending to Zoe and Drew's story.
After reading Roomie Wars and hearing that Zoey and Drew were getting another book, I jumped at the chance to read this and it didn't disappoint!! I loved their quirky, hilarious, sweet friends to lovers romance and this was the perfect continuation as they take the next step towards their forever wedding planning. Wedding Wars was super angsty and about gave me an anxiety attack the whole way through. I had no clue where this story was going and it had me captivated and on the edge of my seat the whole way through till I was left wanting more of these two!!
This story was quirky, funny, and sweet like Roomie Wars, but Kat threw in some real heart tugging, honest, serious moments that will leave you heavy hearted. She developed both these characters in a real, honest way, as they both questioned their feelings and thoughts towards their future together. This book had me shouting at them to get their acts together but then in the next moment wanting to reach in and hug them close and give them comfort. I love these two even more now after reading this book and I really hope they get another book!!!
I cannot recommend Zoey & Drew's book enough!!! I loved them and I hope you love them just as much as I do. I cannot wait to see what Kat has for us in the future!!!
